Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist. You will support physicians in complex vascular and interventional procedures, maintain radiation safety, and participate in on-call coverage.

The role requires a Radiologic Technology credential, ARRT certification, on-call availability, and experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology; strong teamwork and commitment to patient care are essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology.
Three years of Interventional Radiology (Special Procedures) or Cath Lab experience preferred.
Experience with scrubbing preferred.
Ability to participate in on-call schedule regularly for interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient including pediatric, geriatric and the general population.
Interacts professionally with patient and family; treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
Stays current with changes in technology and techniques via continuing education and journals.
Responsible for operation of x-ray equipment, radiation safety and safe handling of Images.
