Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist who will operate as both Radiologic Technologist and Special Procedures Technologist in the Cardiac/Cath Lab within Interventional & Imaging Services at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY.

The role requires a NYS Radiologic Technology license, ARRT certification within 1 year, and a 2-year college certificate or equivalent. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires NYS license in Radiologic Technology or plan to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• ARRT certification to be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• 2 years college certificate or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams, verifies patient identity, positions patients, and communicates results to radiologists.
• Performs all listed special procedures (angiography, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, IVC filters, stents, angioplasty, catheter insertions) with sterile technique and ALARA radiation safety.
