Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and venography, with emphasis on patient safety and protocol adherence.

Responsibilities include post-processing, accurate documentation, and education for patients across age groups. ARRT registration and BLS are required; VI/CI advanced ARRT preferred. Schedule features 4 10’s shifts with day-time hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification.
• Advanced ARRT certification in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography and venography.
• Completes post-processing functions and patient care tasks.
• Adheres to imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Provides patient education and communicates effectively with diverse age groups.
