Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist to support interventional radiology, fluoroscopy, angio-CT and ultrasound procedures. You will verify patient data, image appropriately, and assist radiologists with complex interventions in a high-volume setting.

Required ARRT radiography and VI certifications, plus BLS and strong patient-care skills. The department offers a hybrid work mode and comprehensive benefits as part of a large academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) upon hire.
• ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) within 2 years.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• Primary Source Verification required.

Responsibilities

• Corroborates patient history and identifiers with procedures, ensuring accuracy for licensed practitioners.
• Position patient and apply radiation protection principles for both adults and children.
• Operate imaging equipment per protocols and verify image quality and labeling.
• Assist radiologists with radiographic, angio-CT hybrid and ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain archiving and patient confidentiality; support quality control for fluoroscopy and CT.
