Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at Ascension, St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. This PRN position supports Interventional Radiology procedures and diagnostic scans, providing high-quality imaging while adhering to safety standards.

You will work with a skilled medical team in a Catholic health system committed to compassionate care. Key responsibilities include performing organ and body scans, administering contrast within scope, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Expertise: Conduct a diverse range of organ and body scans to provide essential diagnostic aid.
• Precision and Safety: Prepare and position patients accurately, manage technical parameters, and rigorously follow all radiation safety guidelines.
• Advanced Procedures: Perform specialized imaging, including angio and complex vascular/interventional procedures, in collaboration with the medical team.
• Protocol Management: Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during procedures, and recommend protocol refinements.
• Ensure Integrity: Maintain unwavering compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
