Job summary

CPH in Alaska is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide technical support during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including room prep, sterile scrub assistance, and operation of fluoroscopic imaging equipment.

The role primarily supports Interventional Radiology with occasional coverage for Cardiac Catheterization, applying clinical knowledge and professional judgment per departmental protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Imaging - Radiography experience.
• CPR (BLSP) & ACLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures and prep the room.
• Provide sterile scrub assistance and operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• Document procedures and provide patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Support Interventional Radiology and cover Cardiac Catheterization as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Interventional Radiology Technologist provides technical support and assistance to the interventional radiologist during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include room preparation, sterile scrub assistance, operation of fluoroscopic and ancillary imaging equipment, documentation, and patient care before, during, and after procedures.

This position primarily supports Interventional Radiology, with collaborative coverage for Cardiac Catheterization as needed. The technologist uses clinical knowledge, strong procedural skills, and professional judgment in accordance with departmental protocols and scope of practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology OR
• Graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in an allied health field (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, or radiologic technology)
• Minimum of two years of Imaging - Radiography experience
• BLSP (CPR) & ACLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
