Job summary

Thompson Health in the Finger Lakes region seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist with interventional radiology exposure to join our award-winning hospital. You will use state-of-the-art imaging to support life-changing, minimally invasive procedures alongside dedicated radiologists.

We emphasize patient-centered care, safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:30pm, with some on-call responsibilities based on unit need.

Qualifications

• Completion of two year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology.
• Current valid NYS Radiologic Technology License.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification.
• BLS certification required.
• 2–3 years radiology tech experience; interventional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use state-of-the-art imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images with autonomy and precision.
• Collaborate with radiologists during interventional procedures including angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and embolizations.
• Coordinate patient services to ensure seamless care and positive experiences for patients and referring providers.
• Maintain radiation safety and patient confidentiality, adhering to NYSDOH and JCAHO standards.

What You'll Do

• Advanced Imaging: Utilize state-of-the-art imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images, often with a high degree of autonomy and precision.
• Collaborative Support: Work hand-in-hand with Radiologists, providing critical assistance during a wide array of complex interventional procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and embolizations.
• Patient-Centered Care: Play a vital role in coordinating patient services, ensuring seamless care delivery & exceptional experiences for patients & referring providers.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and patient confidentiality, adhering strictly to NYSDOH and JCAHO regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of two year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology required.
• Current valid Rad Tech NYS License required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technology Registry/ARRT (R) required.
• BLS certificate required.
• 2-3 years Radiology Tech experience including one year Interventional Radiology experience preferred, but we will consider exceptional new graduate Rad Tech candidates.
• Pay Range: $36.00 - $46.00.
• Starting Pay: Based on Experience.
