Rochester Regional Health’s Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY seeks a Special Procedure Technologist to perform radiologic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Lab. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, apply ALARA principles, assist in sterile procedures, and manage equipment and documentation.

NYS certification/licensure is required or obtained within six months; ARRT preferred.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or hospital certificate program.
• New York State registry eligible in Radiologic Technology.
• NY State license in Radiologic Technology required or obtain licensure within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform radiologic technologist duties, ensure proper patient identification and exam technique.
• Carry out special procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterizations, and related interventions.
• Maintain ALARA radiation safety principles and assist in sterile procedures.
• Assist with post-operative care and groin access management after sheath removal.
• Organize room setup, stocking of supplies, and complete procedural documentation.

Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology

NYS license eligible in Radiologic Technology

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - NYS Office of Professions
