Prostate Centers USA, in partnership with KCUC, is seeking a Surgical Technologist (IR Scrub Tech) for a full-time, day shift role in the IR lab. You will prepare patients and rooms, maintain sterile technique, and assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, valid BLS, 2 years scrub tech experience, and preferred ARRT/CST certification. Expect collaboration across departments and involvement in safety and documentation tasks.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Surgical technologist / Scrub Tech experience: 2 years.
• ARRT // CST Certification (Preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures.
• Reviews patient orders to determine necessary materials and sets up/cleans procedure rooms.
• Assists with patient prep, transfers, and positioning.
• Inputs patient data into the C-Arm and assists physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Complies with HIPAA, draws up and labels IV medications, and processes/archives x-ray images.
• Manages equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and hazardous waste disposal.
• May serve as Radiation Safety Officer and assist with accreditation surveys.
• Ensures effective communication with physicians.
• Assists with patient billing, verifying procedure charges, CPT, and ICD9 codes.
