Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology to deliver nursing care across the patient life span, performing assessments, planning, implementing and documenting care, while working with the patient care team to uphold standards of nursing practice.

The role includes completing pre-admission consultations, assisting physicians, and coordinating care within the department.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to monitor and administer IV medications.
• Prior computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre-admission consultations for invasive, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and educates patients.
• Assesses and documents patient procedures and information.
• Manages record keeping of controlled substances per protocol.
• Assists physicians with orders and physical assessments.
• Responds to department emergencies as needed.
• Provides post-procedure reports and follows up with outpatients.
