Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology to deliver nursing care across the life span, assess, plan, implement and document care.

Works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Qualifications

• RN licensed in NJ or PA.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience monitoring and administering IV meds.
• Prior computer usage required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-admission consultations for procedures and patient education.
• Assess and document patient procedures and outcomes.
• Record-keeping for controlled substances during procedures.
• Assist physicians with orders and patient assessments.
• Respond to department emergencies and coordinate care.
• Provide post-procedure reports to receiving units.
• Document follow-up calls to outpatients.
• Organize and prioritize patient care using available resources.
• Serve as a role model and resource for coworkers.
