Portsmouth Regional Hospital - New Hampshire is interviewing candidates for a Registered Nurse IR Special Procedures opening. The RN will demonstrate independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care under NH Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe medication administration, and supporting patient discharge planning. A BSN is preferred and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• NH RN license or valid compact state licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and administrative nursing care per NH Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel and supervise as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care and communicate progress.
• Document patient care and discharge planning.
• Attend unit meetings and participate in continuing education programs.
