Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital - New Hampshire is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures and provide diagnostic aid using fluoroscopic equipment.

In this role, you will prepare equipment, render patient care, and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. The position requires a Registered Radiologic Technologist with at least two years of experience. Comprehensive benefits and education support are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, monitor inventory, maintain cleanliness of procedure room and work area.
• Render patient care professionally, explain all procedures, perform physical assessment (IVs, catheters, tubing, etc.).
• Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents intravenously.
• Maintain sterile technique during Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Real‑time review of scans for technical accuracy.
• Complete verification process in PACS in a timely manner.
