Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for our Special Procedures Department in Largo, FL. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a procedural setting, supporting a collaborative team focused on patient safety. The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact acceptable) with 60 days to obtain.

Nursing Diploma/ASN required; BSN preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or active compact license; FL license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of invasive radiology patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians in procedures.
• Identify and ensure all necessary equipment is available and room is prepared.
• Monitor patients during procedures and document findings.
• Continuously assess and communicate patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
