Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing imaging-guided procedures in a dedicated radiology suite.

The RN delivers pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care, collaborates with technologists, anesthesia providers and proceduralists, and may administer moderate sedation. Florida licensure, BLS/ACLS required; PALS within six months. BSN preferred; 1–2 years in IR-related settings or IR fellowship valued.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS within six months of hire.
• BSN preferred; BSN within three years may be required for some hires.
• 1–2 years in ED, ICU, Radiology, or IR settings or completion of IR Nurse Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during pre-op, procedural, and post-op phases.
• Administer moderate sedation as required.
• Collaborate with technologists, anesthesia providers and proceduralists.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients.
