Job summary

IR Centers is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab providing interventional radiology services in outpatient settings across the U.S. We seek a Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology to assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans for procedures with moderate sedation, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

The role includes patient education, safety, and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, explaining procedures, ensuring HIPAA compliance,

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license to practice in the state.
• BLS certification, ACLS certification (Or willingness to obtain).
• English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Explains procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Supports and drives quality patient care by implementing facility-specific action plans and goals
• Performs tasks with considerable judgment, providing assistance to team members and offering solutions
• Ensures medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations, performing regular audits
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the facility, inspecting equipment, recommending repairs, and managing supplies efficiently
• Assists with hazardous waste disposal and upholds environmental standards
• Attends meetings, collaborates with physicians, and addresses their concerns
• Participates in the development of radiography policies and supports regulatory surveys
• Administers moderate sedation during procedure
• Conducts pre-op and follow-up calls
