Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Interventional Radiology (IR) department. The RN will assess patients, coordinate care, and support IR procedures, including sedation and post-procedure recovery. Requires Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS, 3+ years of experience (PACU/ICU/ED preferred).

PALS may be required within 3 months. This is a part-time, on-site role in Miami, FL with On Call rotations and potential for additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS required.
• PALS preferred but must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Three years of experience; PACU/ICU/ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess condition of patients receiving Imaging/IR services using nursing process.
• Liaise and educate for Imaging/IR Services; support Radiology team.
• Provide nursing care during interventional procedures, sedation, pre-procedure and recovery.
• Participation in On Call rotations and Charge role as determined by role and experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred

Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) with plan to complete BSN within 2 years
