Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Jersey seeks an Interventional Radiology RN per diem to join our Magnet-designated nursing team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care within Interventional Radiology, guiding other health team members to ensure quality care in line with NJ Board of Nursing standards.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and relevant clinical coursework (Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, ECG).

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation.
• Procedural Sedation obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsabilités

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.
• Provide direct patient care or direction and supervision to other health team members to ensure proper implementation of care in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the ANA Code of Ethics and institutional policies and procedures.
• Teach patient/significant others about health/illness state and plan of care.
• Ensure that patient/significant others are prepared for discharge and health maintenance in the home setting.
