Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN per diem to join a Magnet-designated team known for exceptional nursing practice and patient outcomes. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

The successful candidate will hold an active New Jersey RN license, have BLS and ACLS certifications, and complete required orientation courses (CC, Sedation, ECG).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New Jersey required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required as approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation.
• Procedural Sedation obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.
• Provide direct patient care or direction and supervision to other health team members to ensure proper implementation of care in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the ANA Code of Ethics and institutional policies and procedures.
• Teach patient/significant others about health/illness state and plan of care.
• Ensure that patient/significant others are prepared for discharge and health maintenance in the home setting.

The Interventional Radiology RN Per Diem will:

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation

• Procedural Sedation obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range:56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
