Job summary

IR Centers® is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab providing interventional radiology services across the U.S. in an outpatient setting.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and modify care plans for procedures with moderate sedation, and provide patient-centered care across all ages. You will prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures, explain procedures to patients, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license to practice in this state.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Explains procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Supports and drives quality patient care by implementing facility-specific action plans and goals.
• Performs tasks with considerable judgment, providing assistance to team members and offering solutions.
• Ensures medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations, performing regular audits.
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the facility, inspecting equipment, recommending repairs, and managing supplies efficiently.
• Assists with hazardous waste disposal and upholds environmental standards.
• Attends meetings, collaborates with physicians, and addresses their concerns.
• Participates in the development of radiography policies and supports regulatory surveys.
• Conducts pre-op and follow-up calls.
