Job summary

IR Centers is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology for full-time work in Lafayette, LA. You will assess patients, plan and modify care for procedures with moderate sedation, and collaborate with a healthcare team across age groups.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current valid RN license to practice in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures per policies.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns.
• Support quality patient care by implementing action plans.
• Provide assistance to team and offer solutions.
• Ensure medical records accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; inspect equipment and supplies.
• Assist with hazardous waste disposal and environmental standards.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with physicians.
• Participate in radiography policy development and regulatory surveys.
• Administer moderate sedation during procedures.
• Conduct pre-op and follow-up calls.
