Job summary

VCU Health seeks a Clinical Nurse I–III to provide direct, age-specific care within a multidisciplinary plan and to document care accurately. You will safely administer prescribed medications and follow physician orders while supporting wellness and comfort for patients and families.

The role progresses from Clin I to Clin III, developing leadership skills, coordinating care, and collaborating with the care team across shifts to meet unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
• Clin II: 12 to 24 months RN experience
• Clin III: 3 years of clinical experience
• BSN preferred; Clin III: certification in specialty area

Responsibilities

• Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders.
• Practices within Virginia regulations governing nursing.
• Leadership responsibilities at the unit level as applicable.
• Delivers and documents direct, age-specific care per integrated plan of care.
