Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, seeks an Interventional Radiology RN to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing image-guided procedures. You will work with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team to support assessments, sedation, monitoring, recovery, and patient education across the care continuum.

The role is part-time with rotating shifts. Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, CT RN license, and BLS/CPR; BSN and interventional

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer medications and conscious sedation in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Deliver pre-procedure education and post-procedure instructions to patients and families.
