Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology. The role involves performing high-acuity radiographic procedures with strict adherence to safety protocols, patient education, and preparing images for interpretation.

You will support a dynamic imaging team, work a 4-day week with 10-hour shifts, and participate in rotating nights, weekends, and on-call coverage. Requires ARRT, state licensure, BLS, and 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT national certification and state licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience.
• Advanced specialty certification within 18 months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and interventional procedures per orders following department policies.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and treatments.
• Produces high-quality images and documents results for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and performs quality control; adheres to radiation safety policies.
• Ensures efficient workflow and adequate supplies in the imaging department.
• Responds to interventional radiology and neuro call-back requirements as needed.
