Kelly Government Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. The role involves pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care within a multidisciplinary team on a research-focused campus.

The position requires an RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and at least 2 years of IR experience, with NIH credentialing and onboarding obligations. Pay starts at $38.92/hr plus $5.42 H&W, contract length 13 weeks, with weekday schedule and 24-hour on-call

Qualifications

• RN licensure in at least one U.S. state
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• At least 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• NIH Clinical Center credentialing and onboarding required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Assess and prepare patients, establish vascular access, and verify consent.
• Administer medications, contrast, and moderate sedation within NIH policy.
• Monitor vital signs, rhythm, oxygenation, pain, and consciousness during procedures and recovery.
• Assist with image-guided procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Recognize and respond to changes in condition, complications, emergencies, and require timely documentation.
• Complete post-procedure monitoring, patient education, handoffs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and NIH policies and safety requirements.
