Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver skilled, compassionate care across a wide range of patient needs. You will assess evolving conditions, identify health concerns, and craft care plans, coordinating interventions with the nursing team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires an RN license and nursing education at ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL level, with IR nursing experience preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Interventional Radiology Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Unit Highlights

3 rooms Minimally invasive procedures, biopsies, line placements – Para/Thoracentesis, CT guided biopsies, hypoplasty, microwave ablations (oncology), GI bleeds, embolization’s (fibroids, bronchial arteries).

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
