Job summary

St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City invites you to join our Interventional Radiology team as a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

You will prepare patients, monitor vital signs, administer conscious sedation, and ensure post-procedure safety, with opportunities for mentorship and professional development. Utah RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred; 2-3 years in Critical Care or Radiology recommended; equal opportunity

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Current Utah Registered Nurse License with BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification.
Must be able to function independently, multi-task oriented, and show prioritizing skills.
Previous IR or 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a patient advocate and provide care through ongoing systems and practices for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Radiology.
Prepare patients for procedures: verify vital signs, medications, NPO status, lab results, and medical history.
Insert and remove intravenous lines and administer conscious sedation and other drugs.
Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
