Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Interventional Radiology team in a full-time role. The unit performs diverse procedures and nurses rotate through Pre, Intra, and Post areas to deliver exceptional patient care.

Schedule: four 9-hour shifts weekly (Mon–Fri) with an on-call weekday night every two weeks and one weekend every five weeks. Requirements include BSN (or to complete within 5 years), Virginia RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year RN nursing experience.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if ADN, complete BSN within 5 years.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in Virginia as a RN.
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required at start.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre, intra, and post-procedure nursing care.
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiology provider and techs to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
• Monitor patient status and vitals throughout procedures and recovery.
