Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Virginia is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN to provide direct patient care, educate patients and families, coordinate unit activities, and support discharge planning.

The role requires at least two years as an RN with one year med/surg and one year critical care, Virginia license or Compact, and BLS certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A collaborative team environment and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• One year experience on med/surg unit and one year experience in critical care. Minimum of two year’s experience as a registered nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and educate patients and family members.
• Utilize equipment and perform procedures relevant to Radiology/Nursing.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
• Coordinate disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including discharge planning.
