Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an Interventional Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Trenton, New Jersey. The full-time, day-shift role delivers specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional procedures and requires strong patient assessment, collaboration, and teaching skills.

The RN will assist physicians, monitor patients, document procedures, and contribute to discharge planning and family education. A valid NJ RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Two years critical care experience preferred
• NJ RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assess patient condition through history, exam, and monitoring
• Assist physician during procedures and document the procedure
• Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and follow-up communication
• Coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
