Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.
• BSN degree required or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• Must have 2 years of acute care experience.
• Critical care or emergency center experience preferred.
• Current CRN or certification in field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registered professional nurse who assesses, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
• Relates effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care.
• Assist in coordination of care during prep, recovery and interventional procedures.
