Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with a CA RN license for a day-shift assignment in Los Angeles. The role requires travel experience and strong IV skills.

Responsibilities include supporting the Interventional Radiology unit across Nuclear Medicine, PET, and RLT services, with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, no weekends or on-call. Epic charting is used and travel assignments are required.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required (EMSA not accepted).
• BSN degree required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
• Strong radiation safety and ALARA knowledge.
• Excellent communication and triage skills.
• Proficient in IV therapy and ports/PICC care.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support Interventional Radiology unit across Nuclear Medicine, PET, and RLT services.
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; no weekends or on-call.
• Patient ratio 1:3 with ~10 daily census; inpatient and outpatient care.
• Float within scope between two medical plaza locations.
• Use Epic for charting; collaborate with technologists and attending physicians.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Charge experience preferred; prior travel assignment required.
• Local candidates accepted at same bill rate; UCLA contractor/traveler separation rules apply.
