The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, KS/MO area seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology. This full‑time role covers days and requires autonomous nursing care, collaboration with a large IR team, and the use of advanced imaging technologies for minimally invasive procedures.

The ideal candidate will have ADN with BSN trajectory and at least two years of clinical nursing experience, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications and state RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS per hospital policy.
• ADN prepared with perioperative understanding and BSN commitment.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing with focus on patient care.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessment.
• Delegate tasks to support staff within scope.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and time management in care delivery.
• Document care and ensure safety in medication administration and handoffs.
• Engage in patient and family teaching and participate in quality improvement.

Associate Degree Nursing

Perioperative & Procedures - For ADN prepared nurses hired after 2/24/2017; must complete BSN degree by the fifth anniversary of employment as an RN with UKHA

2 or more years experience as a clinical nurse
