Job summary

The Minneapolis VA Health Care System seeks a physicianspecializing in Interventional Radiology to provide diagnostic, interventional, and follow-up care. This position includes supervision of trainees and participation in education activities.

The role requires leadership in patient management and adherence to VA standards. The Interventional Radiology physician will cover procedures across radiology services, manage imaging interpretations, and ensure quality of care within the federal

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Fellowship in Interventional Radiology or equivalent IR training.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including consultations, imaging-guided interventions, and follow-up care.
• Interpret imaging studies and submit radiology reports for outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Supervise trainees (students, residents, fellows).
• Provide call coverage as assigned by the Chief.
