Allina Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. This 0.6 FTE clinical role blends autonomous patient management with collaborative procedural support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The position requires a Master’s degree in PA/NP training and MN licensure, with 1 year of post-graduate experience; IR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA or NP program.
• Minimum 1 year post PA/NP training.
• MN license required upon hire and board certifications per role.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive patient assessments, pre and post procedure.
• Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness.
• Orders and interprets medical diagnostics with IR physicians.
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment.
• Conducts patient education for chronic illness/wellness.
• Refers for specialty care when needed.
• Consults with physician when scope is unclear.
• Provide support to IR practice tasks.
