Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology department leader to oversee operations, budgeting, policy development, and quality assurance. The role requires ARRT certification and CPR, with preferred BS in a related field and prior management experience.

The position involves coordinating diagnostic services, equipment planning, and staff supervision, while ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in administering and establishing department policies and procedures.
• Assists in planning new diagnostic services and facilities, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Addresses team member, patient, and physician complaints.
• Follows up on error correction and establishes corrective action to address identified problems within 24 hours.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual capital equipment and operation budget.
• Continually monitors and maintains monthly budgeted figures and completes detailed monthly variance reports.
