Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• BSN required.
• Current NJ Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support required.
• 3-5 years Interventional Radiology experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and models professional behavior with all staff and provider interactions.
• Acts as change agent to assist staff in embracing necessary change.
• Completes annual performance appraisals including feedback, development plan and self-appraisal.
• Attends meetings as directed by nurse manager.
• Promotes unit-based shared governance and supports educators and staff.
• Encourages nursing specialty certification in partnership with nurse manager.
• Fosters a positive working environment and staff engagement.
• Facilitates interviewing and onboarding of new hires and peri-op fellows.
• Identifies and implements activities to ensure patient care aligns with professional standards and safety goals.
• Monitors and improves departmental performance in evidence-based practices and patient safety.
• Participates in regulatory readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
• Works with nurse manager to develop departmental plans addressing improvement needs.
• Collaborates to meet organizational goals for patient experience and satisfaction.
• Supports financial planning and staffing efficiency in collaboration with the nurse manager.
