Job summary

University of Rochester is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. You will prepare rooms, position patients, and ensure high-quality images using fluoroscopy and post-processing tools at a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include patient care, equipment setup, and accurate charting. A formal radiologic technology education and NYS CRT licensure are required, with ARRT certification and CE credits preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Current NYS CRT licensure and ARRT Radiography Certification with CE credits.

Responsibilities

• Set up interventional radiology rooms for each study.
• Interact with patients and families to provide a caring atmosphere.
• Operate fluoroscopy, digital subtraction, and post-processing tools.
• Maintain inventory and accurate documentation in PACS.
