Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC is seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to assist physicians with minimally invasive image-guided procedures in Rochester, NY. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment, maintain sterile fields, and provide direct patient care.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating real-time imaging systems, adhering to ALARA radiation safety protocols, documenting procedural data, and supporting inventory within the EMR/PACS environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; Associate degree preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R); advanced vascular or cardiac credentials preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required.
• Ability to stand for long periods in lead aprons and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate real-time imaging systems like C-arms and fluoroscopy units.
• Sterile Technique: Prepare sterile trays, maintain a clean procedural field, scrub in or circulate during operations.
• Patient Care: Verify patient identification and consent, monitor vitals, administer contrast media, apply ALARA protocols.
• Documentation & Inventory: Record procedural data and billing codes in EMR/PACS; manage suite inventory.
