Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintain NYS licensure and ARRT certification with CE credits as required.
• One-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up interventional radiology (IR) rooms for the study.
• Interact with patients and family to create a caring atmosphere during visits.
• Verify patient name, date, exam, and comments in electronic systems.
• Transfer patients to/from imaging tables using assistive devices.
• Follow the Dual patient identifier procedure and ensure proper imaging post-processing.
