Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Supervisor to lead the Weill Cornell imaging team. You will oversee daily IR operations, coach staff, ensure patient flow, and uphold QA standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a BS degree, NYS radiologic licensure, ARRT CT/Interventional certification, and at least five years of radiology leadership experience. On-site at Weill Cornell with strong collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Minimum of five years progressive radiology experience.
• New York State Radiological Technologist license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, physicians, staff and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Interventional Radiology department.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of imaging professionals.
• Coordinate patient flow and departmental throughput to support efficient, high-quality care.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, quality assurance standards, and ACR requirements.
• Provide work direction, training, and ongoing staff support.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions as appropriate.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Assist with inventory management and recommend new equipment and supply purchases.
• Support departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
