Job summary

PAGNY and NYC Health + Hospitals invite a Board-Eligible/Board-C Certified Interventional Radiologist to join Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital in New York. You will lead image-guided interventions, collaborate with surgeons and radiologists, and mentor residents in a high-volume academic setting.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and continuous learning within a leading municipal health system.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of an Interventional Radiology Fellowship.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Participate in emergency interventional procedures as needed.
• Provide expert consultation on complex cases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
• Supervise and train residents and fellows, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
