Job summary

Advocate Health’s Interventional Radiology lab in Oak Lawn seeks an experienced radiology technologist to support complex procedures and patient care. You will position patients, acquire diagnostic images, and collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and neuro specialists.

The role includes sterile prep, monitoring, room setup, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology and be ARRT registered.
• This position will need to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients and treat all customers with age specific appropriateness.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Position patients for correct anatomy.
• Obtain radiographic DSA and DA images and transmit to PACS for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Assist in complex interventional endovascular neurovascular procedures and stroke interventions.
• Set up patient on monitoring systems and interpret normal ranges.
