The role requires AAPC or AHIMA certification, at least 2 years of coding experience, and proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and EMR/billing systems, maintaining a high accuracy rate.

Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for managing data and communications.
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential.
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Code complex and simple procedures for inpatient and outpatient charts while calculating E&M leveling.
