Your expertise ensures we maintain strict compliance with established coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, and accreditation standards while optimizing reimbursement outcomes. Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience
• Michigan Residency

Current certification in one of the following:

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)

Thorough knowledge of:

• Anatomy and physiology
• Pathophysiology and disease processes
• Medical terminology
• Pharmacology
• Coding systems and guidelines

PREFFERED

• Specialty coding certification in Interventional Radiology
• 5+ years of coding experience
• 1-2 years of college coursework or additional education in:
