Job summary
The University of Virginia Health System is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join the Interventional Radiology team. You will perform image-guided procedures, collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff, and advance through a structured credentialing pathway designed to support long-term professional growth.
Applicants should have a master's degree in nursing or PA, valid Virginia licensure, and relevant procedural experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree.
- Current licenses/certifications as required by Virginia state boards.
- BLS required; ACLS/PALS as position-specific.
- Credentialing and onboarding completion is required for procedural independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided procedures including ultrasound-guided and CT-guided interventions.
- Collaborate with radiologists, residents, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in onboarding and credentialing pathways to support long-term success.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and maintain documentation in line with standards.
