UVA Health in Charlottesville is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Interventional Radiology. This role delivers image-guided procedures and collaborates with radiologists, residents, APP colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

After onboarding and credentialing, you will enjoy procedural autonomy and a structured pathway for skill growth within a growing radiology APP program, with opportunities to lead and mentor while advancing clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master’s degree.
• License to practice as NP/PA in Virginia or eligible for licensure; BLS, ACLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle biopsies, drainage catheter placements).
• Utilize ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT guidance as indicated.
• Collaborate with oncology, nephrology, and other services to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in onboarding and credentialing pathways to support long-term success.
