Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Partners is Maine’s largest multi-specialty physician-owned organization delivering radiology services across the state. This Southern Radiology APP role focuses on CT-guided, fluoroscopic and ultrasound procedures, line placements and post-procedure care.

The position emphasizes collaboration with radiologists, technologists and nurses, with education duties for staff and ongoing credentialing support within SHCP’s VIR program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with a physician assistant degree.
• Current, unrestricted PA license issued by Maine or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in interventional radiology procedures.
• CITI (IRB) training or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams with assessment.
• Perform CT-guided, fluoroscopic and ultrasound procedures and CVA line placements.
• Assist in direct patient care services with inpatient/outpatient consults and follow-up.
• Educate patients on procedures, risks and outcomes; obtain informed consent.
• Manage post-procedure care and monitor for complications.
