Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP), licensed NP or PA-C, to support fluoroscopic and interventional radiology procedures. The APP will perform a range of GI/GU fluoroscopy studies and related procedures, under physician supervision.

The role includes pre/post-procedural evaluations, documentation, collaboration with multiple services, and teaching responsibilities within Covenant’s teaching framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure to practice in Michigan as a Nurse Practitioner.
• ACLS and/or BLS certification required.
• Two (2) years’ experience as NP/PA or RN in the specialty.
• Limited Scope x-ray equipment training (40 hours) if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform image guided fluoroscopy procedures and related injections under physician guidance.
• Provide IR directed pre/post-procedural evaluations and consults.
• Maintain accurate patient care records and documentation.
• Collaborate with IR and other specialties; escalate clinical situations as needed.
• Train and mentor staff and medical students or residents.
• Contribute to protocol development and research as needed.
• Participate in on-call shifts as department needs dictate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
