Job summary

Bayfrontstpete is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services at Bayfront Hospital in St. Pete, FL. You will perform procedures while adhering to radiation safety principles and ensure high-quality images for interpretation.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, maintaining documentation, mentoring students, and supporting quality control tasks. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic program, Florida license, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida ARRT license and ARRT certification.
• Maintain BLS/Healthcare provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professional judgment in delivering care.
• Delivers appropriate care and ensures successful completion of procedures.
• Assists physicians in producing diagnostic imaging.
• Assists physicians as needed in all procedures.
• Ensures patient education on procedures, safety and comfort.
• complies with radiation safety regulations.
• Participates in quality control tasks.
• Mentors student technologists and trains new staff.
• Operates radiology equipment and ensures proper documentation.
